Hello everyone, decided to try this Mexican restaurant out tonight, the restaurant has large monitors showing sports and has a great atmosphere. Food was much better than some of the other Mexican restaurants around my area, the refried beans was great as was the other food we ordered. The patron margarita was served in a glass with dry ice that made it steam and bubble and was very good.
Delicious Mexican food but expect some inconsistent service on a weeknight. We ordered the Molcajete Mexicano and the Chipotle Fajita. Molcajete was our favorite as it came sizzling hot and stayed hot all dinner and it is SEASONED *chef's kiss* The Chipotle Fajita was tasty as well and was a huge portion..and kind of liquid, which is surprising for a fajita. My guess was they rush made this since they initially gave me the wrong order (Texas Fajita). Service was spotty. We really had to be on top of flagging down our server as he was also helping at the bar. Took a bit to get a refill on my soda.
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, it wasn't busy, but I ordered off the dinner menu. The Boss Burrito was excellent and definitely worth the cost. Additionally had the Texas Top Shelf margarita, which was a strong/fun drink. I read some of the negative reviews but we stopped in anyway and we were not disappointed. Definitely check this place out for yourself before coming to a conclusion. We'll definitely be back.
This has become one of my favorite Mexican places in Greenwood! The food and service is always great!
Great looking inside and plenty of space. The Chicken Soup hit the spot perfectly and the serving was enormous and incredibly generous. Super friendly staff, hot chips, cold salsa, not much more you can ask for!
The food was just as good as the El Toro on McFarland! The Service was % Great! This restaurant has plenty of seating, very nice environment.
El Toro offers a solid dining experience with plenty of positives! The service was quick and efficient, and I really appreciated the dedicated vegetarian menu—a big plus for plant-based diners. The restaurant has a nice ambience, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it great for any weather or mood. The bar section is separate and well set up, which adds to the overall vibe. There’s also free parking, which is always a win. On other side, the taste was okay—not bad by any means, but not exceptionally memorable either. Still, the experience as a whole was enjoyable, and I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for a relaxed spot with good service and a nice environment.
